We are looking for a Curriculum Coordinator for a bilingual school (early years) based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.About the schoolA bilingual school, which was founded five years ago, is situated in Huangpu and Pudong district of Shanghai. It provides bilingual teaching to students from first grade to the 12th grade of elementary, middle and high school. The school follows the Chinese national curriculum and has elements from the British IGCSE and A levels curriculums to meet the academic needs of its students.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee the program, ensuring alignment with the foundational program and curricular interfaceGuide the curriculum, aiding teachers in planning and instruction of all subject groups and core componentsEstablish school policies for special needs and assessmentsConduct parent workshops on program overviews and support strategiesImplement and adapt the curriculum and teaching strategies, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environmentDifferentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs; integrate IT in teaching where suitableUphold behavior standards; adhere to health and safety policiesFoster student self-esteem; maintain regular communication with parents and community engagementServe as a role model; participate in school meetings and development activitiesMaintain subject knowledge and engage in ongoing professional developmentRespect colleagues’ needs; maintain team cohesion and contribute to the school's efficient operation.Lead new school initiatives and respond constructively to self-evaluation reviewsDevelop IT capabilities in line with the school's digital learning strategyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related fieldAt least 2 years’ relevant working experienceMinimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a kindergarten or early childhood education settingStrong communication and teamwork skills for working well with teachers, parents, and administratorsSalary and benefitsMonthly salary of 25,000 to 28,000 RMB before tax commensurate with experience and qualificationsMonthly housing allowance of up to 10,000 RMBNational public holidaysFully paid Summer and Winter holidaysYearly airfare allowanceMedical health insuranceResidence and work permit sponsorship
