Job Description

Are you passionate about accounting and eager to grow your career? We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in accounting for construction contracts, general corporate accounting functions, and a commitment to accuracy. You'll play a key role in ensuring our financial records are up to date, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately record costs and revenues for each project.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Close financial periods monthly and assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Perform reconciliations for bank and general ledger accounts.
Support annual and periodic audits, including insurance audits.
Assist with accounts payable reporting and updates.
Help maintain and update procedure guides.
Provide support for accounts payable and receivable functions.
Serve as a cultural ambassador by upholding integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Take on additional tasks as assigned.
What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.
Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software (experience with Netsuite is a plus).
Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and delegate when needed.
Collaborative spirit, eager to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
Flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment.
A proactive attitude and a strong desire to advance in your accounting career.
