Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role is crucial in supporting the month-end close process and providing insights for process improvements within our accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform account reconciliation and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for management
  • Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Manage cash accounting and ensure proper cash flow management
  • Support the adoption and integration of fintech solutions within the accounting team
  • Implement and enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
  • Conduct bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with other departments on financial data inquiries and reporting needs


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • Proficient in accounting software, particularly NetSuite
  • Strong skills in Google Sheets and Excel
  • Familiarity with business banking operations
  • Experience in SaaS or fintech environments is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
