Cali Kids Dental is a leading dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and oral health services across multiple locations. Our team of professionals is committed to quality, teamwork, and the well-being of our patients. We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Traveling Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team.

As a Traveling Registered Dental Assistant , you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients in various clinic locations. You will be responsible for assisting dentists in a variety of procedures, ensuring that our clinics run smoothly, and providing outstanding patient experiences. This position requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different environments and teams.

Schedule & Locations

• This is a full-time position
• Monday-Friday 7:45 PM-5:00 PM (32+ hours per week)
• Traveling between our Antelope, Orangevale and Auburn offices

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Schedule appointments and manage the dental office’s scheduling and billing systems.
• Order and manage dental supplies, ensuring that the office remains well-stocked and organized.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support administrative duties as needed, including answering phones, greeting patients, and processing payments.
• Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Valid RDA license and certification in CPR and other relevant dental certifications as required by law.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols.
• Proficient in taking digital x-rays and familiar with dental software systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
