Job Description

Maintenance Technician 

Pay: $20 - $22.66 hourly 

Shift: 1 st (4:30 am – 3:00 pm) 

Job Responsibilities 

• Performs general maintenance work in the plant and on the building to maintain structures, electrical systems, machines, heating systems, plumbing, etc.
• Make repairs and replace parts on such mechanical equipment as presses, drills and machines. 
• Repair buildings, construct bins, shop benches, replace partitions, etc.
• Make crates, repair and replace electrical switches, motors and their controls, replace fuses and lighting equipment, etc.
• May operate and maintain heating system.
• Work is subject to final inspection. 

Required Work Experience & Skills

• Previous electrical installation and troubleshooting experience required. 
• Previous industrial maintenance technician experience required. 
• Work requires a basic knowledge of various trade fundamentals sufficient to deal with only general repairs.
