Remedy is thrilled to partner with a leading firm in the WNY area as they embark on a search for a Legal Assistant with expertise in Personal Injury Law/support. This Legal Assistant will be responsible for supporting the managing partner in drafting all legal documentation pertaining to ongoing PI litigation. Job Title: Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm with Flextime offered once training is completed!

Pay: $50,000 - $55,000 annually

As their Legal Assistant/Paralegal, here is an overview of what you will tasked with in this role:

Draft discovery responses/demands, legal correspondence, pleadings, summons/complaints, subpoenas etc.
Submit e-filings via NYSCEF
Meticulous calendar management to include scheduling depositions, court appearances and client conferences
Order, follow-up on and organize relevant medical records
Manage all files/documentation

We're looking for experience Legal Assistants/Paralegals with the following background profile:

HS diploma is required; higher education/certifications is always valued!
At east 3-5 years of prior experience in a Legal Assistant or Paralegal role
MUST HAVE Personal Injury experience ! We will not be able to consider candidates who do not meet this requirement.
Must have strong understanding and experience with the litigation process
No Fault experience
