Kelly Science is seeking a Laboratory Technician opportunity for a growing biotechnology company located in Beverly, MA.
Pay: $25-29/hour depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Employment Type: 12 month contract
Job responsibilities include:
Conduct experiments for product development of new membrane filters.
Utilize UV-VIS for quantification of proteins in samples.
Handle biological samples including human blood (prescreened for pathogens).
Collect, analyze and record data accurately in laboratory notebooks and databases.
Assist in method development and method optimizations for new testing methods and protocols.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to data analysis, project reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, microbiology or a related scientific field.
Hands-on experience with pipetting, micro pipetting and handling biological samples strongly preferred.
Must be able to work well into a team setting, and have strong attention to detail.
