Key Responsibilities:

Claims Analytics:

  • Analyze healthcare claims data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize claims processing, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes.

Knowledge Graph Implementation:

  • Design and implement knowledge graphs to represent relationships between entities such as providers, payers, patients, and claims for advanced data exploration.
  • Integrate knowledge graphs with Databricks pipelines for real-time and batch data analysis.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data transformation and ingestion for knowledge graph workflows.

Data Management and Integration:

  • Extract and process large volumes of healthcare data from Databricks and other cloud platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Develop and maintain data models that unify structured and unstructured datasets into cohesive analytics frameworks.

Visualization and Reporting:

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries to communicate insights effectively.
  • Provide stakeholders with reports and visual narratives highlighting critical KPIs, trends, and actionable insights.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with business leaders, data scientists, and IT teams to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions for claims analytics use cases.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare claims data, guiding stakeholders on data interpretation and usage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in healthcare claims analytics and knowledge of payer-provider data workflows.
  • Proficiency with Databricks, SQL, and data pipeline design.
  • Experience with knowledge graph technologies such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, or GraphQL.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data processing and visualization.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to interpret complex healthcare data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with machine learning or advanced analytics (preferred).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in healthcare data analytics or related fields.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of advanced graph database techniques and ontology development.
