Field Service Technician - Field Service Representative

Location: Grand Rapids, MI, USA

Employment Type: Full-time

Contract Type: 6mo to direct hire/permanent

: Field Service Representative (Dispatchable)

As a Field Service Representative, you will:

• Provide operations, maintenance, and repair expertise on water treatment systems at various customer sites.

• Work with diverse technologies, including:

• Media filtration

• Softening

• Reverse osmosis (RO)

• Ion exchange (IX)

• De-oxygenation

• Electro-deionization

• Ultrafiltration (UF)

• Wastewater treatment

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance with a strong emphasis on EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) .

• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities .

• Perform analytical testing, including:

• Turbidity

• Hardness

• Chlorine

• pH

• CO? and O? levels

• SDI (Silt Density Index)

• TOC (Total Organic Carbon)

• Other site-specific tests

• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems .

• Maintain inventory of spare parts, chemicals, and replacement items.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including:

• Valves

• Air compressors

• Ejectors

• Process pumps

• Blowers

• Instrumentation

• Create and maintain site paperwork, including detailed technical summaries of work performed for customers.

• Collaborate with customer management and operations teams.

• Ensure contract compliance for volume and quality specifications.

• Perform other duties as required.
