Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting professional to join our team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing many financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in  BUDGETING, CASH FLOW, FORECASTING PRO-FORMAS and GENERAL ACCOUNTING

Duties:

• Develop and maintain Budgets and Cash Flow reports
• Develop and maintain forecasting models for growth and expansion plans
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Coordinate the preparation of external audits and tax filings
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency gains
• Manage a team of finance professionals and provide leadership and mentorship

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in lending, financial services or finance
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as QBooks or similar platforms
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive results in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
