The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.
Salary Range: $120K-$130K/Annum
Job Description:
- We are seeking a Business Analyst with 5 to 10 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in writing SQL queries for data retrieval.
- The ideal candidate will also possess proficiency in JIRA and will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, gather, and analyze requirements, and develop solutions that align with strategic objectives.
- This role requires a solid understanding of data analysis and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Effective Communication: Clearly communicate project status, requirements, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Facilitate meetings and discussions to drive consensus and gather feedback.
- Requirement Gathering: Collect, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD) and industry data, including KPIs and financial reports, utilizing data analytics tools to support insights and decision-making.
- SQL & Data Analysis: Write SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data. Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights and trends that inform decision-making. Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders to track performance metrics and KPIs.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a bridge between business departments, facilitating process improvements through workflow analysis and various business analysis methods.
- Project Support: Collaborate with project managers, developers, and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and are completed on time.
- Project Communication: Regularly update project status, manage risks, and facilitate decision-making processes with leadership teams.
- Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. Document results and provide feedback for improvements.
- Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user guides. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost care and always maintain confidentiality.
