The Morton County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for appointment to serve on the Morton County Weed Board from District #4, Mandan Area District and District #6, Fort Rice Area District. The Weed Board shall implement a program for the control of noxious weeds. The board employs a Weed Officer and works closely with landowners. The County has been divided into six weed districts.
Any qualified elector of District #4, Mandan Area is eligible for appointment. The appointment is for a 4-year term expiring 08/01/2028.
Any qualified elector of District #4, Fort Rice Area District is eligible for appointment. The appointment is for a 4-year term expiring 08/01/2028.
Board Members may serve for more than one term.
