JOB TITLE: Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Saab

LOCATION: Manassas, VA

PAY RATE: $30/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 36 lbs; standing for extended periods.

• Team Size: 7-8

Summary:

• Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Saab 340 aircraft.

• Support complex modifications, retrofits, and upgrades to meet regulatory standards.

• Ensure compliance with FAA, NASA, and company policies in all maintenance tasks.

• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities per FAA and company requirements.

• Monitor systems and components to prevent critical issues.

• Provide mentorship to junior technicians as needed.

• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of tools and materials.

• Execute safety protocols and conduct final inspections for airworthiness.

Required Skills:

• 2-5 years of Saab 340 maintenance and repair experience.

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.

• GE CT7 General Familiarization Certification preferred.

• Flight Safety International Saab 340 Maintenance Certification preferred.

• GE Dowty Propeller Field Repairs Certification preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Saab 340 systems, structures, and avionics.

• Proficiency with maintenance tracking software and diagnostic tools.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work onsite in Manassas, VA, 5 days a week.

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain airport access card.
